Powered by Portkeys’ latest CINENORM OS, this compact monitor is daylight-viewable, it can be operated via its touchscreen or the four user-assignable function buttons, it comes with a full suite of professional monitoring tools, and it has the capability to control your camera wired or wirelessly. The housing of the BM5IV WR is entirely made of rugged aluminum housing. It has thin bevels around the screen and features a toughened glass in front of the display. With a weight of only 358g/12.62oz (without battery), it won’t add much poundage to your camera rig.

No matter if you’re shooting indoors or outdoors, the Portkeys BM5IV WR is daylight-viewable with a high brightness of 2,000 nits. The 10-bit (8+2 FRC) panel makes color reproduction more accurate with a rich level of color details and no color banding. This 5.5-inch monitor has a FullHD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a large 178° viewing angle, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
